Enemies come in several types ranging from small two legged hopping melee attackers to re-purposed human bodies infused with mechanical parts (I can't tell if they are actually alive or just used as shells for the machines). the animations for switching modes is nice and gives you a sense of action and purpose. as you gain upgrades those weapons gain new modes turning the machine gun into a rocket launcher or the energy gun into a rail gun for sniping and doing heavy damage to targets. For weapons, there are two to begin with, a conventional machine gun and an automatic energy weapon. The weapon variety is excellent and the shooting is spot on and challenging thanks to cluttered environments and frantic enemy encounters.
